Faculty Outreach

The Writing Center’s Faculty Outreach program supports faculty teaching across the curriculum. Collaborate with the Writing Center to design or revise writing assignments, develop discipline-appropriate writing pedagogy and support your students as they develop scholarly identities.

Services Available to Faculty

One-on-one consultations with the Assistant Director for Faculty Outreach to discuss writing pedagogy. Faculty can discuss approaches to teaching specific genres, collaboratively design writing assignments and more.
In-class Workshops on Specific Writing Concerns: invite the assistant director for faculty outreach to your class to talk about writing-related issues.
Scholarly Writing Accountability Groups: provide support to junior faculty who are working on scholarly writing projects for tenure.
Writing Fellows Program: embed a Writing Center tutor into writing-intensive courses.
